What is Zoomtopia?

Zoomtopia is Zoom’s annual user conference designed to celebrate our customers. It’s two jam-packed days of learning and inspiration where you will make connections, learn best practices, and peer into the future of communication. Zoomtopia will prepare YOU to make a positive impact throughout your organization.

Who should attend Zoomtopia and why?

If you’re passionate about communication, video, the future of work or IT, this conference is for you. Network with peers, hear from industry leaders, and learn how to maximize your Zoom investment.

I have already registered for Zoomtopia. How do I choose which sessions I want to attend?

Go to this registration page and click the link that says “Already Registered?”

Enter your Email Address and Confirmation Number and click “Ok”. Click the “Modify” button, then scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click “Next”. Select sessions that you are interested in adding to your agenda. Selecting sessions does not hold a seat and are first come, first served.

Once you have selected your sessions, click”Next” at the bottom of the page. Review your Registration Details, and if all looks good, click “Continue”. Navigate to the bottom-right-hand side of the page and click “Finish”

How do I download the Zoomtopia Mobile App?

The Zoomtopia app (for both iOS and Android) is your knowledgeable friend at the event that will help you to get the most out of your experience. Our app is user-friendly, gamified, interactive, and covers everything you need to know about the event. To get the Zoomtopia app:

1. Go to the iOS or Google Play store
2. Search Zoomtopia.
3. Download the app and it will show up on your device’s home screen with the app display name “Zoomtopia.”
4. Congrats! You’re in the app. To get full user accessibility, go to the hamburger menu on the top left side of the page. Login with the same email you used to register for Zoomtopia.
5. At this point, there will be a verification code sent to your email, which you will need to enter in the app in order to access the content.

Note: If you downloaded last year’s app, please ensure that you are opening Zoomtopia 2019, not reopening the 2018 app. Revisit Step #1 to ensure that you are choosing the app with our matching event icon.

What is the recommended dress code for Zoomtopia?

Zoomtopia will be an indoor event with some outdoor elements. We recommend business casual, but there is no enforced dress code. The Bay Area can get hot during the day and chilly in the evenings, so take this into consideration when planning your attire.

What is your substitution policy?

If you are unable to attend Zoomtopia, you may substitute one friend or colleague’s name per registration for no fee. All submissions must be received in writing by 5:00pm (PDT) on October 8, 2019. Substitutions will not be permitted after this deadline. Please submit your substitution request to zoomtopia@zoom.us and include the following information for the new registrant: name, job title/position, work address, phone number, and email address. A registration confirmation will be sent to the new registrant once the substitution is confirmed.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be received in writing by 5:00pm (PDT) 7 days before the event (October 8, 2019) to be eligible for a refund, less a $50 (USD) processing fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after 5:00pm (PDT) on October 8, 2019. Please send your cancellation request to zoomtopia@zoom.us with your name, email address, and registration confirmation number.

Do you offer discounts for non-profits?

If you are a Zoom customer from a non-profit, please reach out to zoomtopia@zoom.us for more information about attending.

The San Jose International Airport is 3.9 miles from downtown. San Jose is also serviced by San Francisco and Oakland airports. Both are within a 45- to 60-minute drive from San Jose.
