Zachary Quinto

Actor & Producer

Zachary Quinto is your Mission Captain for Zoomtopia 2019, but it’s not only because he’s this world-class actor who’s done some space exploration on the big screen. Sure, he’s probably most recognized for his portrayal of Mr. Spock in the big-screen reboot of “Star Trek” and its sequels, but the Carnegie Mellon grad has a wealth of amazing credits to his name. Zachary’s appeared in films like “Snowden” and “Hotel Artemis” and graced Broadway with his talents in “The Glass Menagerie” and “The Boys in the Band.” He’s also the lead in AMC’s new TV series “NOS4A2.” But like so many Zoomtopians in attendance this year, Zachary is a huge believer in Zoom and even uses it for his own production company, Before The Door Pictures, which he co-founded more than 10 years ago. Mike Massimino

Former NASA Astronaut

An astronaut, the first person to tweet from space, a recurring character on The Big BangTheory, and now a New York Times bestselling author, Mike grew up a working class kid whose seemingly unreachable dream of becoming an astronaut and flying in space was realized in an unlikely journey that was driven by determination and commitment, and realized with hard work and humor. Oded Gal

Chief Product Officer, Zoom

Oded is responsible for leading Zoom’s Product Management. He brings more than 15 years of product experience to the Zoom team, providing in depth knowledge in video-centric collaboration and hands-on experience in building large-scale, cloud-based services.

Before joining Zoom, Oded held leadership positions in video conferencing and unified communications product management. He was VP of Product Management at Blue Jeans Network and head of UC integrations at Cisco Webex. Oded has also served as Director of Business Development at Radvision.

Oded holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology).

Remi Gas

Chief Technology Officer, Sanofi

Remi GAS is CTO & Vice President IT infrastructure at Sanofi, he is leading overall IT Infrastructure for the group (Corporate IT, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and R&D) as well as Enterprise Architecture activities. He has 23 years of technology experience with a focus on IT infrastructure across diverse industries. He joins Sanofi from Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) where he was CIO for EMEA & Global CTO, Head of Infrastructure. During his tenure he was responsible for the complex transformation and globalization of LDC infrastructure and front office for EMEA Trading activities. Previously, he was CTO, Global Head of Network, Security and Datacenters at Societe Generale Group leading the globalization of Infrastructure capabilities across the various Societe Generale business units. He has held similar positions at Thalas, International Group Operations and Bouygues Telecom.

Since 2010, Remi is also Vice President of the European CTO association (C.R.I.P). Remi has a degree in engineering from Ecole Supacrieure d’Informatique-Electronique-Automatique (E.S.I.E.A)

David Fetterolf

David has been with Stratus Video for seven years and is responsible for leading the overall strategic direction of the company. Stratus Video is a language service provider focused on the healthcare market. Stratus Video has made the Inc 500/5000 list of fastest growing companies seven times, and helps millions of limited English proficiency patients to communicate with their healthcare providers. David brings over 26 years of experience working for healthcare information technology and service companies. Prior to joining Stratus Video, he was president and founder of MDeverywhere (now eMDs), a revenue cycle management software tailored to the healthcare industry. Prior to MDeverywhere, David was a division president for Datamedic, a leading provider of computer-based patient records and business management software and services for medical practices and clinics. David has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. An avid sports fan, David enjoys playing tennis and golf.

Eric S. Yuan

Prior to founding Zoom, Eric was corporate vice president of engineering at Cisco, where he was responsible for Cisco’s collaboration software development. Eric was one of the founding engineers and vice president of engineering at Webex. Between 1997 and 2011, he grew his team from 10 engineers to more than 800 worldwide, and contributed to revenue growth from $0 to more than $800M. In 2017, Eric was added to the Business Insider list of the 52 Most Powerful People in Enterprise Tech. In 2018, he was named the #1 CEO of a large US company by Glassdoor and EY Entrepreneur of the Year in Northern California (software category). Eric is a named inventor on 11 issued and 20 pending patents in real time collaboration. Eric earned a certification from the Stanford University Executive Program.

Janine Pelosi

Chief Marketing Officer, Zoom

Since March 2015, Janine has led Zoom’s corporate marketing initiatives including go-to-market strategies, brand awareness, communications, product marketing, lead generation, and customer marketing. Additionally, in 2018 she began leading Zoom’s online business unit.

Janine brings over 15 years of strategic marketing experience to Zoom, providing in-depth knowledge of SaaS business models. Prior to joining Zoom, Janine led the worldwide demand generation function for the collaboration business unit at Cisco. She built successful teams and transformative programs at both Webex (pre-acquisition) and Cisco, garnering a deep knowledge of both eCommerce and direct sales go-to-market models.

Jocelyn Widmer, PhD

Assistant Provost for Academic Innovation, Texas A&M

Dr. Jocelyn Widmer is the Assistant Provost for Academic Innovation at Texas A&M University. She leads the Office for Academic Innovation with a commitment to inspiring innovation to strategically grow online and hybrid delivery as Texas A&M uniquely expands the reach of the university. Jocelyn has experience impacting student learning by creating: pathways for improved student retention in an era of digitally-native students; pathways for delivery supported by the diverse education technology landscape; and pathways for enrollment that are designed to be accessible to students across the state of Texas, nation and world. Jocelyn maintains an active research portfolio through faculty appointments in the College of Architecture and School of Public Health at Texas A&M University.

Trent Harris

Trent Harris is the Head Of Collaboration and Unified Communications at NAB, overseeing NAB’s workplace collaboration and conferencing that brings together and supports more than 33,000 staff members. Trent has more than 25 years’ experience in the IT industry and specifically, 18 of those in the financial services sector. With a particular focus on Workplace Technology over the past 12 years, Trent’s particular strengths are in Infrastructure Platforms, designing them, managing and running them and optimising them. Before joining NAB, Trent spent six years as ANZ’s Enterprise Workplace Architect, in which he was one the key drivers behind the uplift of ANZ’s digital workplace experience. Before joining ANZ Trent was Head Of Application Delivery for Barclays Bank (UK) where, under End User computing, he resided over release management and application presentation domains. Trent is an advocate for change, constantly excited by the ever-evolving consumer landscape and technology’s role as a foundation and an accelerator of that change, and in particular, its influence on the workplace environment. A self-declared midlife crisis saw Trent take up guitar a few years back. In addition to enjoying the intellectual stretch of picking up a new instrument, Trent has also developed a chronic case of GAS (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome) which his wife has been trying to cure ever since.

Kelly Steckelberg

CFO, Zoom

Kelly Steckelberg brings to Zoom extensive leadership and finance experience. Most recently, she was CEO of Zoosk, where she previously held positions of CFO and COO. Prior to Zoosk, Kelly was the Sr. Director of Consumer Segment Finance of Cisco. Kelly has also held various roles in finance at Cisco Webex, Epiphany, PeopleSoft, and KPMG. She has a MA in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin. Kelly is a board member of the Episcopal Community Services of San Francisco and loves to travel, having been to over 60 countries.

Jared Zabel

Jared Zabel is a passionate technologist focused on delivering world-class customer experiences. Jared first joined Fox in 2017 as the Senior Engineer responsible for the enterprise-wide Zoom Room deployment, and Tier III technical support of Zoom software and hardware components across Fox corporate offices in 38 countries worldwide. During the 2018/2019 FIFA World Cup broadcasting events; Jared designed custom communication solutions for FOX Sports to enhance productivity and remote collaboration between key stakeholders. Jared now oversees Fox technology procurement, and the walk up HelpDesk service known as the HELP Bar. The HELP Bar drives the adoption of new technology by providing the customer interface between the IT organization and the business.

Prior to his tenure at Logitech, Geno held various strategic roles in the A/V, video conferencing, mobile application, and digital video/audio solutions industries. Geno resides in Portland, Oregon with his wife and 2 young-adult kids.

Jacqueline Benitez

Education Specialist: Distance Learning, CA Academy of Sciences

Jacque Benitez is an Education Specialist for the California Academy of Sciences’ distance learning program. She has been at the Academy in San Francisco, California since 2012. Starting her time in the Morrison Planetarium presenting astronomy shows to K-8 students. Then Jacque took the opportunity to reach students beyond the Bay Area in an innovative way. Through the Academy’s distance learning program, she connects via Zoom with students all around the country on subjects ranging from asteroids to African penguins. Since joining the education team, she has tripled its digital outreach and co-designed many of the existing programs offered today. Her mission for distance learning is that every K-8th grade student has the opportunity to explore, explain, and sustain life as a scientist.

Jay Flanagan

Manager, Enterprise Email and Messaging, Emory University

Jay Flanagan began his career in the computer industry in 1988 working in both the transportation and banking industries before coming to Emory University in the fall of 1997. Jay manages the Library and Information Technology Services (LITS) Messaging Team at Emory, which includes Email, Active Directory, Video Conferencing, the Emergency Mass Notification System, Trunk Radio and Application Desktop Support.

Aparna Bawa

Chief Legal Officer, Zoom

Aparna brings to Zoom an expertise in building infrastructure for rapidly growing technology companies as they scale. Most recently, she was SVP, General Counsel for Magento Commerce, the leading global provider of ecommerce software solutions. She helped sell the company to Adobe in 2018. Prior to Magento, Aparna was the VP, General Counsel for Nimble Storage (NYSE: NMBL); she was instrumental in the company’s initial public offering in 2013. Later, she was a key contributor in Nimble’s sale to Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2017. Previously, Aparna led the legal and corporate development functions for Inphi Corp (NYSE: IPHI). Bawa began her career as a corporate and securities attorney for Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. She was also an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and Deutsche Bank, where she executed multiple IPO and M&A transactions for technology clients.

Brenda Rockswold

Academic Technology Specialist IV, Emory University

Brenda Rockswold is an Academic Technology Specialist IV working with the Messaging and Collaboration team within the Library and Information Technology Services division at Emory University. Brenda’s career at Emory began in 1995 having previously worked at a satellite business television company in Atlanta since 1989. Her expertise lies in consulting, designing, and supporting operational management of centralized video services for current and future technologies related to videoconferencing and collaboration, campus TV programming and delivery, live video streaming and event broadcasting, and new video initiatives for the Emory enterprise.

In recent years, she has become lead support of the campus emergency alert and mass notification system working to expand alert delivery methods across the enterprise via digital signage, cable TV, local sirens, voice, email, and text.

Greg Martin

Director of IT, NASDAQ

Greg has been in the IT industry for 23 years and with NASDAQ for 17 starting with LAN infrastructure and PBX systems. He moved into the VoIP world when he started with NASDAQ and eventually added Video to that Focus. Greg’s current vision at NASDAQ is to move Voice and Video Services to the Cloud. In one year, his team has installed 85 Zoom Rooms as he work toward moving all Video Conf. Rooms to Zoom’s platform.

Shawn Rolin

Shawn Rolin is the Head of Technology at Zoom. He is focused on what customers need to transform their business and how Zoom can be the best software company in the world for our customers.

Shawn has over 20 years of experience as both a consumer and provider of technology. Prior to joining Zoom, Shawn was the Systems Engineering Director at Cisco Systems where he led the Sales Engineering Team and Strategy for the Americas Collaboration business.

When Shawn isn’t spending time at Disneyland with his wife and three daughters, he can be found rooting for the San Francisco 49ers or honing his Escape Rooms skills.

Nick Chong

Nick is responsible for global professional services and Zoom Rooms evangelism at Zoom. He brings an extensive background in technology, market development, product strategy and pursuit of customer satisfaction.

Prior to Zoom, Nick was the founder of the first Emerging Technology business unit at Cisco Systems in India. He led business incubation, technology acquisition and go-to-market strategy. Nick also held senior leadership roles as Director of Product Management at Perfigo (acquired by Cisco) and Director of Global Support at Intruvert (acquired by McAfee). Both network security solutions (NAC and IPS) attained the #1 market leadership positions and evolved to become critical stakes of the $3Bn network security market. In addition, Nick spent over 7 years with Cisco Global Support and Services in San Jose and Brussels.

Nick holds a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University and Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Kansas State University.

Dr. Hossam Mahmoud

Brendan Ittelson

Head of Support, Zoom

Brendan is responsible for global customer support at Zoom. He brings an extensive background in technology and the pursuit of delivery of high quality customer solutions.

Prior to Zoom, Brendan worked as both a contractor and a DoD civilian employee, in the federal sector, creating, implementing, and supporting various global identity management systems. After leaving the DoD, Brendan transitioned to the financial sector and joined a FinTech startup, Dynamics Inc, where he served as VP of Special Operations. In that role he combined his business and technology background on special projects, including helping to revolutionize payments without disrupting the way payment systems work.

Brendan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon and a certificate in Identity Management from the Naval Postgraduate School.

Amir Kazemi

Jake Butterbaugh

Prior to Five9, Jake worked for Cisco, whom he joined Cisco in 2008 as part of the Cloud and Managed Services team, where he helped build Cisco’s global strategy for cloud and hosted collaboration solutions (HCS). Janelle Raney

With over 20 year of experience in the software technology industry, Janelle Raney is known for building brands with highly successful go-to-market strategies. She is passionate about products that bring
teams together and make work easier. She is an expert in video and unified communications with a focus on delivery customer happiness.

Raney joined Zoom Video Communications in 2015 to head up the Product Marketing efforts. Previously she was head of the Product Marketing for the Document Cloud division of Citrix Systems. She holds a BS in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University, and an MBA in

Amber Humphrey

Amber Humphrey, MBA is the Director of Telehealth at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She joined the telemedicine department in December 2013 and has been instrumental in the strategic development of
the Vanderbilt’s telehealth infrastructure and the implementation of 60+ telehealth service lines.
Amber’s experience at Vanderbilt University Medical Center dates back to 2001. Her previous roles
